Cotidiano, Minúsculo.

THE PROJECT

Cotidiano, Minúsculo is born as the utmost expression of art beneath common scientific (biological) samples that students in 4th to 6th semester of high school see and analyse as part of classwork. The laboratory samples give an entrance to artistic analysis of the samples themselves.

Samples range all the way from man-made fibers and objects to living microorganisms. Photos were taken with a wide arrange of lenses and in both, optical and stereoscopic microscopy.

Samples and preparations were generously provided by Maricarmen G. and Mónica G; Sebastián M. and Jacqueline Z. collaborated with revisions to the project.

EL PROYECTO

Cotidiano, Minúsculo nace como una expresión de arte sobre preparaciones cotidianas científicas (biológicas) que los estudiantes de 4º hasta 6º semestre de preparatoria analizan como parte de materiales de clase. Las muestras presentan una oportunidad perfecta para analizar el valor artístico de las mismas.

Las muestras van desde fibras hechas por el hombre hasta microorganismos. Las fotografías se tomaron con distintos lentes y microscopía óptica y estereoscópica.

Las muestras y preparaciones fueron proporcionadas generosamente por Maricarmen G. y Mónica G; Sebastián M. y Jacqueline Z. colaboraron con revisiones al proyecto.
